Use the exclusive Touch World Cup Airport Link to get to and from the airport to Edinburgh's City Centre. It is fast, inexpensive and direct. Once in the centre you can catch a local No 14, 30, 33 or 48 bus from North Bridge at the West End of Princes Street to Pollock Halls next to the Royal Commonwealth Pool.
Prices are £6 return for the Airport Link and £1.20 for the local bus. If travelling with a group you may wish to share a taxi - approximately £25 door to door.

Getting to Edinburgh by Car,
Travel Route Planners
Because Edinburgh is located at the heart of the Scottish motorway network, it can be surprisingly quick and easy to get here by car. If you’re travelling from the north of Scotland, for example, Edinburgh is only 3 hours from Inverness and just over 2 hours from Aberdeen. Journey times from England are just as good; you can get here from Birmingham in about 5.5 hours, from Manchester and York in about 4 hours, and the city is just 2.5 hours from Newcastle.

Parking
There is a VERY LIMITED amount of onsite parking available at Pollockhall. All surrounding parking areas are metered parking (approx £1 per hour) meaning long term parking will be expensive. We would strongly recommend where possible not to bring cars. The nearest public carpark is a considerable walk away and costs approximately £18 per day. The playing fields also have very limited parking so please be aware of this when considering logistics.
